The Monime WooCommerce plugin allows store owners in Sierra Leone (and other supported regions) to accept payments directly through their WooCommerce store using Monime’s payment infrastructure. It leverages Monime’s Checkout Session API to provide a secure, hosted payment experience.

How It Works

  1. Checkout: When a customer chooses “Monime Checkout” at your store, an order is created with Pending Payment status.
  2. Redirect: The plugin creates a Monime Checkout Session and redirects the customer to the secure payment page.
  3. Payment: The customer completes the payment using their preferred method.
  4. Confirmation: Monime redirects the customer back to your “Order Received” page.
  5. Webhook: Simultaneously, Monime sends a secure webhook to your server to confirm the payment and update the order status.
